Imagine yourself waking up steps away from the sea to the gentle sound of waves caressing the shore; immersed in nature yet surrounded by indulgences. It is our love and respect for raw, untouched nature that inspired the accommodation at Gili Asahan Eco Lodge.

The Lodge offers an authentic and original sojourn; blending modern yet simple comforts with local building materials, traditional techniques and natural repurposed components. We hope for visitors to live the experience as we did when the dream began many years ago. Come and unplug from the chaos of urban life and plug into the tranquility of nature.

Our philosophy is to be in harmony with the habitat, our goal is to make your stay unforgettable from the moment your toes touch the white sand beach of our shores.

ROOMS

Beach Bungalow

Our Beach Bungalows sit just about 35 meters from the shoreline, offering a relaxed island stay with a partial sea view. Depending on the season, the lush seaside vegetation creates more shade and greenery during the wet season, while in the dry season the view opens up more towards the sea. Though not a full sea view, these bungalows give you the comfort of being close to the beach while still enjoying privacy and a natural setting.
Inside, each bungalow is equipped with a comfortable double bed and mosquito net, a desk, a security box, and air conditioning. The semi-open bathroom with a little private garden adds a tropical touch.
On the terrace, you’ll find a sofa, coffee table, a ceiling fan, and hammock — the perfect spot to relax, enjoy the sounds of nature, or chill with a book. The sofa can also be transformed into an extra bed with a mosquito net, available on request and for an additional fee, making the bungalow suitable for up to three guests.
There is no hot water system, but thanks to the sun, the natural heating provides pleasantly warm showers in the afternoon on sunny days.
The Beach Bungalows are among our guests’ favorites, offering just the right mix of comfort, nature, and proximity to the sea.

Jungle Hut 1

Our newest room the Jungle Hut is spacious, comfortable and equipped with air-conditioning, perfect for couples, families or small groups looking for a relaxing getaway. While it can accommodate up to five persons, it offers plenty of space and privacy for two. The room features a terrace with a chill-out sofa and hammock, as well as a small garden where you can hear the birds sing. Please note that the room doesn’t have a sea view, but it’s just a short walk to the beach. The bathroom is located adjacent to the room, rather than attached.

We’ve reimagined it as a cozy, garden-facing bedroom by adding two raised platforms that create a small terrace with bean bags and a coffee table on one side, and a compact dressing area on the other. Each Bale includes luggage storage, a headrest locker for small valuables with a power outlet inside, and a security box. For comfort, there’s a fan and 360° bamboo blinds you can roll up for a breeze and garden views or roll down for a snug, private feel. A private bathroom sits beside the room in a small garden. A unique island experience for those who like simplicity with just-right comforts—sleeping close to nature, comfortably.

For comfort, there’s a standing fan, and 360° bamboo blinds you can roll up for a breeze and garden views or roll down for a snug, private feel.
Bale 4 is tucked a little further back on the property, offering extra privacy and quiet. The private bathroom sits directly behind the room in a small private garden.

Bale 5

Cottage

Nestled in the wilderness just a short walk from the beach, the Cottages offer a more private & upscale, yet equally Crusoe, experience for families or groups of friends travelling together. Equally hospitable as romantic, the Cottages are also a great accommodation for couples looking for a unique, spacious and luxurious place to share with their loved one.

The Cottages were designed to give you a sense of a holiday home, accommodating up to 5 guests in 3 separate sleeping quarters; ground floor main room with King size (1,80 m), upper floor mezzanine with a choice of a Queen (1,60 m) or two Singles (each 80 cm), and Single extra bed (1,10 m) option in the living area.

Gladak

A traditional wooden house converted into the perfect beach-front bungalow and tastefully furnished with heritage antiques; The Gladak room offers a balanced blend of cultures providing modern comforts with a unique cultural twist.

Featuring a spacious verandah boasting views of turquoise waters embraced by emerald hills, an ample bedroom with King-size mattress and en-suite bathroom for two with a large private garden, it is the perfect little home away from home for those wanting an authentic island life experience.

Also included are the usual amenities of the other accommodation at Gili Asahan Eco Lodge such as breakfast, free flow Lombok spring water, use of most recreational gear and more.

The Jungalow is designed for couples seeking a tranquil escape. The cozy bedroom is air-conditioned and furnished with a comfortable queen-sized bed, a wardrobe, and a desk for your convenience. One of the highlights of the Jungalow is its open chill-out terrace, complete with a relaxing sofa and a hammock where you can unwind and soak in the peaceful ambiance. The unique open-air bathroom adds to the island vibe, allowing you to feel connected to nature. While the Jungalow doesn’t offer a sea view, it’s just a short stroll away from the beach, ensuring easy access to the pristine shores and crystal-clear waters of our island paradise.

Beach Hut

Boasting our classic Eco Lodge designs with a refined touch the room offers the same modestly large, furnished living spaces and amenities as our other rooms with added elegance and grandeur.

Yoga House

Comfortably nestled at the feet of the hill the YOGA ROOM is the ideal, cozy hideout for those looking for a little extra privacy. Perfectly situated in the middle; between the sunny beach and beach front restaurant and the beautiful lush jungles and yoga shala on sunset hill, tucked away hidden from view but only steps away from all the island fun.

The Yoga room has fully enclosed sleeping, living and en-suite bathroom and boast large sliding glass doors and stained glass windows for natural light. Equipped with all the necessary comforts the room sleeps two guests in a queen size bed with the option of a third guests on the convertible inside sofa. Tastefully and carefully furnished with day bed, desk, air-conditioning, fan, mosquito nets on all beds, security box and relaxed outside chill-out area with coffee table and beanbags as all our other accommodation at The Lodge and including all the same amenities.

With a spacious, tastefully furnished verandah offering breathtaking beach-front views and two separate bedrooms, this room offers both privacy and communal space, making it the perfect room for groups of friends or families travelling with teenage children. The Lumbung can also be enjoyed as a luxurious honeymoon suite for couples looking for something unique and classy.

The maximum capacity is 4 people in 2 king size beds or alternatively 1 king size bed and two singles in the room on the upper floor.
