DIVING

We offer Lombok diving as individual experiences at exclusive, new dive sites around our pristine South Lombok coastline, as well as special day trips with the chance to go exploring in undiscovered waters with the opportunity to find untouched and amazing dive sites.
Our dive sites reflect a good cross-section of what Indonesia has to offer, and Sektong offers even the widely traveled and experienced diver a surprising and breathtaking experience. Diving Sekotong offers colorful, relaxed reef diving for all levels of training, and fun diving for families and beginners.
A unique underwater experience and a fascinating multitude of species await you. Scuba diving in south-west Lombok means the chances of seeing turtles and white tip reef sharks are fairly high, and you’re likely to sight blue spotted stingrays, cuttlefish, scorpion fish and more while scuba diving South Lombok.
South Lombok offers excellent diving for all levels of experience!
Dive in – the diverse underwater world around the bay of Sekotong offers relaxed diving and plentiful macro life! As the sea is fairly shallow, visibility is never crystal clear but this doesn’t affect the caliber of the dive sites. Our reefs are full of bright soft corals and colorful crinoids, which harbor an amazing variety of rare marine life, including Ghost Pipe Fish, Leaf Fish, Pygmy seahorses and much more.
The water temperature is around 27C – 29C, so you should be fine with a shorty or rash vest. More detail information and recommendations around diving & staying in South Lombok you can find here…
A highlight for photographers and all scuba enthusiasts!

Gili Renggit 4 unique and fascinating dive sites!

The east side of Gili Renggit, “Batu Putih”, is an excellent site to explore for macro life. Surrounded by shrimps, ghost pipefish and glassfish, you dive along a slope lined with soft coral and feather stars. Diving “The Harbour” you can also find Blue spotted rays, cuttlefish, moray eels and a lot more!

The west side of Gili Renggit is also quite spectacular! “Pantai Batu” shows an abundance of hard coral and a fascinating staghorn coral garden in the shallows at the end of the dive. “Wave Corner” offers rare species for the macro fan! The corals are populated with nudibranches, ghost pipefish and colorful shrimps. Come and see if you can find the camouflaged frogfish, leaffish, and other amazing critters!

Belongas Bay – challenging diving with big rewards!

Famous for its dive sites “The Magnet“ and “The Cathedral“ you’ll find pristine reefs with an abundance of marine life. Here the seasonable sighting of schooling barracudas, tunas, and other pelagic life is fairly regular. Apart from the mobula- and eagle ray season during September, hammerheads have the tendency to school around the Magnet end June until early November. As currents and dive conditions in south east Lombok can at times be quite challenging, at some of the dive sites we recommend diving only to the more experienced diver!

The Magnet (Batu Kapal)

A pinnacle in the open sea with challenging conditions and big fish action! Schools of mackerel, rainbow runner, tuna and barracuda accompany your dive, while you are on the lookout to spot the hammerheads. White tip- and black tip reef sharks are fairly common, but on occasion we also see the one or other pelagic shark around the pinnacle. Experienced divers only!
